DESCRIPTION

Green Zebra is a classic green-fruited heirloom tomato with a distinctive zebra-like striping. The fruits are meaty with a bright, tangy-sweet flavour that stands out in salads and summer dishes. This variety is known for strong productivity and a steady crop of medium-sized tomatoes.

For best results, start seeds indoors in late March to early April. Move seedlings into the brightest possible spot as soon as they emerge and pot on as they grow. Transplant to a greenhouse in May, or outdoors in June once nights stay warm. Provide full sun, consistent watering (avoid waterlogging), and strong support. As an indeterminate variety, it benefits from regular side-shoot removal to focus energy on fruiting. Ripeness is judged by the colour shift (more yellow striping) and a slight softness when gently pressed.
