Scarlet’ is a striking red kale with deeply curled, rich purple-red leaves that intensify in color with cooler weather. Nutritious, hardy, and ornamental – great for eating and for garden display.
  • Sowing Information:

  • Sowing time: March–May indoors; direct sow outdoors in May–June.

  • Seed depth: 1–1.5 cm.

  • Germination: 7–14 days at 10–20 °C.

  • Transplant outdoors: At 4–5 true leaves, spacing 40–50 cm apart.

  • Location: Sunny site with fertile, moist, well-drained soil.

  • Growing Information:

  • Requires regular watering and light cultivation.

  • Harvest leaves from the bottom upward; young leaves are tender and suitable raw.
