DESCRIPTION

Hellfrucht is a robust, high-yield outdoor tomato chosen for reliable results in variable summers. The light red, round fruits are crack-resistant and have a balanced sweet–tangy flavour. It’s an excellent salad tomato, and the slightly thicker skin also makes it a great choice for preserving and canning.

For best results, start seeds indoors in late March to early April and give seedlings plenty of light. Transplant outdoors in late May to June once nights are warm. Choose a sunny, wind-sheltered location and, if possible, keep rain off the foliage to help leaves stay drier. Provide strong support and remove side shoots regularly to keep plants productive into autumn.
