PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Lingua di Fuoco Nano is the dwarf bush form of the famous Italian borlotto bean, prized for its beautiful red-striped pods known as “Tongue of Fire”. This very early and highly productive variety produces large pods containing white beans speckled with red, renowned for their rich flavour. The beans are excellent for soups, stews and traditional Italian dishes.

Pods can also be harvested young and eaten like fresh green beans before the seeds fully mature. As the beans dry, they turn yellowish with cherry-red markings, making them suitable for storage and later use. This variety performs best in light to moderately heavy, well-tilled and loose soil, and thrives in sunny locations. Its compact growth makes it ideal for container gardening and smaller plots.
