DESCRIPTION
Marmorossa is a Roma-type tomato with elongated, pointed fruits and striking red skin with yellowish streaks. The flesh is firm and meaty with very good flavour, making it an ideal choice for sauces, roasting, and preserving.
Start seeds indoors in February–March and keep seedlings warm and bright. Transplant to a greenhouse or outdoors in May–June once nights are reliably mild. Choose full sun, keep soil evenly moist (avoid waterlogging), and provide support for the plants. For the most reliable harvest in short or cool seasons, a greenhouse is recommended.
