Amaranthus tricoilor
A colorful salad herb with mild flavored leaves, used as spinach. Pretty in garden! Thrives in full sun outdoors. Needs well drained soil and can be grown as an early or late crop under glass for micro greens.Sow seess from late spring toto late summer (thinly) in rows 18in apart, barely covering the seed.
Minimum soil temp for germination 10 deg C.
Can be progressivel harvested as salad leaves around 30 days from germination.
For larger leaves for cooking around 50 days.
