Phasseolus vulgaris
A super-productive bush type that yields straight, purple pods. Blooms are pretty pink. These are held above the foliage – a great advantage that makes the pods easier to see and harvest. Also keeps them from contact with the ground and reduces risk of disease. Pick them young, at 4-5 inches, for flavorful, tender snaps.Striking long pods! The beans turn green when cooked, have a supeb flavour and stringless. This quick maturing variety is extremely high yielding and can be harvested throughout the summer.
