Solanum lycopersicum
'Duttingold' is a vigorously growing, bright yellow tomato variety suitable for open-ground cultivation. The average fruit weight is about 60 g. The flavor is pleasantly aromatic with a pronounced acidic taste. Demeter biodynamic seeds.Growing Guide:
- Sowing Time:
- Sow seeds indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost (March or April). Transplant to the open ground once the risk of frost has passed and the soil has warmed.
- Location:
- Choose a sunny, sheltered spot with well-drained soil.
- Spacing:
- Space plants 45–60 cm apart with 90 cm between rows.
- Care:
- Provide support (stakes or netting) and water regularly. Remove lower leaves and side shoots to direct energy toward fruit production.
- Harvesting:
- Harvest fruits when they are fully yellow and ripe. Frequent harvesting encourages more fruit development.
