How to grow on the windowsill

Location: a bright windowsill (south- or west-facing), temperature 18–24 °C.
Soil: light indoor or herb potting mix, with a small addition of vermicompost.
Watering: moderate – keep the soil moist but not waterlogged.
Sowing: year-round indoors, from spring to autumn.
Harvest: pinch young shoots regularly to encourage bushy growth.

What seeds are included in the set?

Catnip (Nepeta cataria) — Also known as “catmint,” catnip excites and entertains most cats: its scent triggers playfulness, purring, and active behavior while helping to ease boredom. The effect is short-lived and completely safe, making it perfect for playtime, training, or little moments of joyful stimulation.

Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) — Lemon balm has a soothing and balancing effect: its gentle lemony aroma helps reduce anxiety and tension, making it ideal for calming stressful situations such as travel, renovations, or guests. Cats may nibble on it or simply enjoy its scent; the effect is mild and supports everyday well-being.

Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) — A cat-friendly plant whose scent and fresh blossoms promote relaxation and support gentle digestion. Dried chamomile flowers can also be used to stuff toys or make calming sachets for your cat. When grown fresh, chamomile provides gentle sensory stimulation and relaxation.

Dill (Anethum graveolens) — Dill offers a fresh, delicate nibbling option that can aid digestion and add variety to your cat’s natural chewing habits. Its mild aroma often attracts cats to explore and taste it — a perfect green snack to keep growing fresh on your windowsill.

This product contains dill, chamomile, lemon balm, and catnip. Although these plants are generally safe for cats, some may have sensitivities or mild digestive issues. Do not let your cat consume large amounts at once. If you notice any unusual behavior or health problems, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian.
